I have a really old house about 110 yro and all the original work is finished in cherry wood in excellent condtion. Do not paint the wood. I wonder what colors look good with him would be. You note the rooms are quite small and have low ceilings and there are lots of wood, thick baseboards, all windows, doors, moldings and picture frames at the top. I want to do anything, the rooms seem even weaker.
